The Central Vermont Community Land Trust is the area’s primary non-profit housing developer and affordable housing education center. It is community-run and highly focused on its mission of creating quality affordable homes and vital community development in Central Vermont.

The Community Land Trust is a membership organization that includes all residents and tenants of its properties. In addition, CVCLT is supported by hundreds of area individuals and businesses. You can join as a member today. Simply click on the Just Give button to the left or on the home page.

CVCLT also receives state and federal funding for specific activities, as well as private foundation support. CVCLT has established a Legacy Bequest program available to anyone who wants to leave a gift in their will. By doing so, a donor creates a legacy of commitment to safe, decent homes for all Central Vermonters that will last far beyond their lifetime.

Participate!

Volunteers are essential to the work of the Community Land Trust. Serving on the Board of Trustees or one of several working CVCLT committees are excellent examples of the generosity of community members to further the mission of the organization as a volunteer. And no less important are the many volunteers eagerly coordinating community events or doing simple tasks on an as-needed basis.
